Traditional little Portuguese restaurant tucked away off the beaten path and net Sao Bento train station. Not a fancy place to look at but don’t let that dissuade you - the food here was outstanding. Mouthwatering chicken with perfectly seasoned rice and a small salad. Prices were very affordable. You need to search out this place and try it , you will be glad you did.

Very unassuming. Delicious food. This is the place for Portuguese food. The white wine sangria was the best! The place is rustic, but adds to its charm. The service was very efficient, too.

Great food and service. We tried the francesinha, which was delicious and filling. The prices are very reasonable for a restaurant located in the city center.

What a nice surprise. Excellent place for linch. No crowd it. Service is amazing, our server was so nice and kind, always with a smile. Food was amazing. Went and order all the best representation of the Portuguese food. We started with Bacalao Pattis and a classic veggie soup. As an entrees we ordered beans with tripes Porto style, it was super!!, Francesinha and Pork.

Adega Viseu No Porto is an absolute gem and a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic, delicious, and incredibly affordable local food experience in Porto. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, no-frills atmosphere that feels genuinely Portuguese. It's the kind of place where you can tell the focus is entirely on the quality of the food and the hospitality, not on fancy decor. The food here is simply outstanding. I tried several dishes, and each one was a testament to traditional Portuguese cooking. The flavors are rich, hearty, and comforting, reminding me of home-cooked meals. What truly sets this place apart, besides the taste, is the value for money. You get generous portions of high-quality, flavorful food at prices that are hard to believe in a major city. This place proves that you don't need to break the bank to eat incredibly well. I highly recommend Adega Viseu No Porto to everyone, especially if you're a tourist looking to escape the typical tourist traps and immerse yourself in the local culinary scene. It's the kind of place where locals eat, which is always a good sign. Whether you're in the mood for a satisfying lunch or a delightful dinner, this place will exceed your expectations. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall fantastic experience. Adega Viseu No Porto is truly a hidden treasure, and I can't wait to go back on my next visit to Porto.

Good food and good service. Honestly not a very fancy or "instagram-able" restaurant, but instead a very warm family restaurant that you can find all the traditional Portguese cuisine that you want, at a very reasonable price. Particularly love the way they made the sangria.
